Dashboard & Feed Health Score

Overview

The Dashboard is the central hub for monitoring your feed management activity in 42feeds. It gives you a real-time overview of your product data, recent actions, automation status, and overall feed quality.

At the heart of the Dashboard is the Feed Health Score, which helps you understand how ready your product data is for advertising and marketplace channels.


Dashboard Overview

At the top of the Dashboard, you'll find quick access buttons for the most common tasks:

  • Import Feed – Start a new feed import
  • Rules – Create or manage transformation rules
  • Exports – View and generate export files
  • Items – Browse and inspect your product catalog

These shortcuts help you jump directly into action without navigating through menus.


Metrics Cards

The Dashboard displays key metrics that summarize your project status:

  • Total Products The number of products across all imported feeds

  • Total Exports The total number of export files generated

  • Scheduled Tasks Active automated imports and exports

These metrics update automatically as your project changes.


Charts

The Dashboard includes visual charts to help you spot trends over time:

  • Product Count A rolling 28-day chart showing how your product count evolves with each import

  • Exported Products A rolling 28-day chart showing export activity You can filter this chart by specific export configurations


Recent Activity

The Recent Activity section shows a timeline of recent actions such as:

  • Feed imports
  • Export generation
  • Rule changes

Each entry includes a timestamp, allowing you to quickly understand what happened and when.


Feed Health Score

The Feed Health Score provides a comprehensive quality assessment of your product data. It evaluates your feed across multiple dimensions and calculates a score on a 0–42 scale — a playful reference to "The Answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything."

This score helps you quickly understand whether your feed is ready for advertising platforms or needs improvement.


Score Breakdown

The overall score is based on three weighted dimensions:

Grading System

Color indicators help you quickly interpret the result at a glance.


Core Required Fields

The following fields are evaluated for completeness across your products:

  • id
  • title
  • description
  • link
  • image_link
  • price
  • availability

Missing values in these fields significantly impact your score.


Issue Tracking

Detected issues are grouped by severity:

For each issue, you can see:

  • Affected field
  • Issue type (missing or invalid)
  • Number of affected products
  • Percentage of your catalog impacted

Clicking an issue takes you directly to the Items view, filtered to the affected products.


Channel Readiness

The Feed Health Score evaluates readiness for major advertising channels:

  1. Google Shopping
  2. Meta Catalog (Facebook / Instagram)
  3. Pinterest
  4. Microsoft Merchant Center
  5. TikTok Shop

For each channel, you can see:

  • A readiness percentage
  • Visual status indicator
  • Missing required fields
  • Validation error count

Taking Action

From the Feed Health Score section, you can:

  • Refresh the score manually
  • Click individual issues to investigate affected products
  • View all detected issues in one place
  • Review channel-specific readiness requirements

This allows you to move directly from diagnosis to action.


Quality Alerts

Alongside the Feed Health Score, Quality Alerts highlight important issues detected in your feed. These alerts help you proactively fix problems before they impact campaign performance or product approvals.

  • Check the Dashboard regularly after imports
  • Use the Health Score before exporting feeds
  • Address critical issues first
  • Monitor channel readiness when adding new exports
  • Use issue links to quickly fix problematic products
